It's Almost Time For A Self Portrait

I've been focusing on art a lot lately. Both my own and others'. I'm so lucky to be able to experience art every single day. I love to think about the skill and work and effort and passion that goes into every piece. I love the honour of being able to see it, feel it. I have cried many a times in the last few weeks, because of the art I enjoy. Black Swan is my favourite piece. Its the most incredible thing I've ever seen. So much thought, dedication, work and love went into that film. Darren Aranofsky, Clint Mansell and Natalie Portman together make the perfect experience of art.

So because of this recent obsession, I have become inspired in a way never before. Unfortunately, because of what is going on in my life, I don't have the time to use my inspiration and passion to its full potential. I am working on something that I'm sure it my best piece to date. It's sitting in my room, waiting to be finished. Children + unfinished work, do not mix well. Alex cut my canvas with scissors. Kids are jerks, yo.
